6.10: Future Delivery

The Powerhouse® Evaluation & Learning Cycle does not end when a program is complete. Learning from training, program delivery, evaluation, reflection and ongoing support should help inform what happens next.

Before future Powerhouse® delivery, organizations can consider:

  • what worked well and should continue;
  • what could be adjusted or strengthened;
  • what was learned from young caregivers and facilitators;
  • whether any additional resources, guidance or support are needed; and
  • how learning from previous delivery can inform planning for the next Powerhouse® offering.

Future delivery also creates another opportunity to continue learning. As organizations gain experience delivering Powerhouse®, new questions, successes and opportunities may emerge and feed back into the cycle. YCA can use learning across participating organizations to continue strengthening Powerhouse® training, resources, supports and program development over time.

Each Powerhouse® delivery builds on the one before it. By continuing to listen, learn, reflect and improve, organizations and YCA can work together to strengthen the experience and impact of Powerhouse® for young caregivers.
